I am incredibly proud and humbled to have received the 2023 Award of Excellence in Environmental Education from the Columbia Basin Environmental Educators Network (CBEEN). Being recognized alongside such an esteemed group of educators is a truly incredible feeling. CBEEN represents the entire Columbia Basin and is the region's network for environmental educators, so to be honored by this community is both meaningful and motivating.
Receiving the 2023 Community Educator of the Year Award is not only a personal highlight but also a reminder of the importance of our collective efforts in advancing outdoor and environmental education. This recognition serves as a reflection of the impact we can have when we work together to foster sustainability, raise awareness, and inspire future generations.
